Bastian Pfefferli lives in Basel, Switzerland, where he absolved most of his studies in percussion.

Interested in novelties and forgotten things that are becoming new again, he is always experimenting and trying to revise habits. Seeing the routine as enemy of art and creativity, he searches ways to proof his opinion. This makes his interest in contemporary music, but also in different traditional music styles. Parallels and opposites are more than an intellectual argument for his musical researches.
